The February meeting will be in two parts. Part one will be nominations of officers for the next term, and possibly the election. There will be an update of the LST-325 event, and the museum incorporation. This should not take longer than 20 minutes including treasurer’s and secretary’s reports.
Following this, there will be a presentation by Dr. Thomas Sabetta, of Owensboro,
about Quantrill’s last Battle in Spencer County, KY, and slides of the rediscovery of that site last month by Tom Sabetta and Gerry Fischer; and the expedition to the grave of Isaiah Coalter. The Coalter slides will be presented by both men.
